Since we started our first research center in 1889, research and development has been an important part of our operations. Today, we are a world leader with around 600 patents, 350 researchers and cooperations with universities and institutions around the globe.
Our research and development is focused primarily on managing water resources, drinking water, wastewater, water supply systems and analysis. We have made key discoveries within areas such as biological treatment methods, qualitative and quantitative methodology for analysis of water pollution, development of measurement equipment and monitoring systems.
