On April 15 Stockholm Business Region together with the French, German, British and American Chambers of Commerce arranged a networking reception for foreign companies at the City hall of Stockholm. The theme of the event was green business.

Sasja Beslik, Director ESG Analysis, Nordea was keynote speaker and moderator of the panel discussion. She identified the following key trends and challenges: Demografic changes in the world, Water scarcity and Climate change. Then a panel debate followed about green business and opportunities in the Stockholm region.
Keep a leading position in the field of environment
The panelists agreed that Stockholm must keep the leading position in the environmental area and capitalize more on the "First Green Capital of Europe". They wished more investments in R&D and infrastructure and a long-term perspective. They said that the cooperation with the city of Stockholm is very good and that iInnovation is crucial for keeping a leading position in the field of environment and therefore more investments in R&D is very important.
